Buchu water is a by-product. It arises when making, distilling, Buchu oil.
Dried organic Buchublad from Skimmelberg is put in a stainless steel kettle. Here steam passes through under high pressure so that the oil is released. The steam and oil cool down and are collected. The oil and water are separated. That water is used to make Buchulife sparkling Buchuwater.
Once used to the taste, it is a refreshing and extremely healthy drink.
No sugars or sugar substitutes.
Do not drink more than 1 glass (250ml) per day. Buchu is not recommended when pregnant or breast-feeding.
